Join Courtney Corey at Theatre Arts School of San Diego in February for this unique deep dive into the world of the hit sensation, Wicked. As an original cast member of both the Chicago and Los Angeles productions of Wicked, Courtney has had the unique experience to work directly with the creative team of this Broadway favorite. She was one of the first ten people to play the role of the green girl, “Elphaba” as an understudy and also played roles in the ensembles of both companies. Most recently, Courtney presented her research “Being an Emotion Scientist / Case Study: Wicked” at the Musical Theatre Educators Alliance in New York City at the Open Jar Studios, where Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz was a keynote speaker.
