FIND YOUR VOICE

Meets every Wednesday, beginning September 6

10am - 11:30am

Adults (18 and up)

Type of class: Singing

Instructor:  Courtney Corey

Drop the kids off at school and then head on over to TAS+SD for some enrichment time just for YOU! TAS+SD Director Courtney Corey will help you free your natural voice, set a foundation of healthy technique, and discover your own unique, textured sound. We will work on vocal production through speech and song, using a variety of music genres as our inspiration.

HAVANA NIGHTS

Type of workshop: Music and Dance

Instructor:  Courtney Corey

Put on your dancing shoes and learn how to Salsa! We will also explore two "Instrumentos de Percusion Menor" - Claves and Maracas as we move and groove to Cuban rhythms. End the evening with a refreshing, complimentary Cuban beverage!

3D MASK MAKING

Instructor:  Courtney Corey

Learn how to DO MORE and THINK LESS. Sometimes we let that little voice inside our head get the best of us - critiquing every creative opportunity. In this hand-on visual art class, we will craft three-dimensional masks out of colorful card stock. Students will sketch and implement design in a short time period, learning to trust their creative instincts and make bold choices. Be a star at your Halloween parties with your very own creation!
